FUNCTIONAL TASKS
I. FUNCTIONS
Advise the Board of Trustees and the University Administrative Board on employment counseling activities; initiatives that connect the university with enterprises and organizations; and activities aimed at improving students’ academic performance and scientific research capabilities. Provide consultation to the University Council and the Administrative Board on employment counseling; cooperation activities between the university and external units and enterprises; and initiatives to promote the commercialization of startup and innovation products. Advise on the development of mechanisms and policies related to innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as the evaluation of performance effectiveness in cooperation-related tasks among faculty and staff across the university. Organize activities supporting the development of components within the innovation and startup ecosystem, and other related activities that contribute to enhancing the quality of training and research for staff, lecturers, and students.
II. DUTIES
Organize and implement employment counseling for learners; introduce job opportunities and provide labor supply for units with recruitment needs.
Organize counseling activities and provide information on training programs, requirements of each educational level and major, and employment opportunities after graduation.
Organize counseling on learning methods, program content, characteristics of majors and professions offered at the university, and relevant state policies and regulations.
Establish an employment information system and a two-way information channel between the university and labor-using organizations/individuals regarding workforce needs and the number of graduates by major each year, in order to support job placement for learners and help employers select suitable candidates.
Organize and participate in交流 programs, seminars, conferences, job fairs, and similar events.
Coordinate with functional units to conduct surveys on graduates’ employment status and collect feedback from employers regarding graduates’ job performance and ability to meet job requirements.
Take primary responsibility for receiving information, managing, and coordinating with functional departments to carry out activities related to training cooperation and human resource development.
Organize fundraising activities and mobilize sponsorships from units and enterprises to support events and provide scholarships for students.
Perform statistical tasks and reporting as required by the university.
Manage and efficiently utilize human resources, facilities, equipment, and resources assigned to the unit.
Coordinate with internal and external units in organizing job fairs, networking programs, and dialogue sessions with enterprises.
Collaborate with departments, centers, faculties, the Youth Union, and Student Association to strengthen cooperation activities. Work with enterprises in Da Nang City, the Central Region, and nationwide to support training, recruitment, internships, field trips, and post-graduation employment for students.
Organize career orientation activities for students.
Conduct surveys to collect feedback from employers on the training quality and competencies of graduates.
Take primary responsibility for evaluating and awarding performance scores related to enterprise relations activities for academic staff across the university.
Serve as a bridge to promote the transfer of research outcomes into production and community applications, thereby strengthening the connection between the university and society, improving training quality, and contributing to the development of the science and technology market.
Coordinate with relevant units to implement science and technology services aligned with the university’s professional functions for organizations and individuals with corresponding needs.
Collaborate with functional units to perform additional tasks arising during university operations.
Conduct information and communication activities to build and promote the spirit and culture of entrepreneurship; organize training, teaching, and workshops on entrepreneurship for students.
Collaborate in organizing student startup competitions.
Collaborate in organizing events that promote entrepreneurship and innovation.
