The university has defined cooperation with the purpose of serving students, supporting training and research, supporting accreditation activities, assisting in student recruitment, and strengthening connections with local authorities.

In 2017, the Center for Enterprise Cooperation & Employment Promotion was elevated to become the Office of Enterprise Cooperation & Technology Transfer (according to Decision No. 1966/QĐ-ĐHDT dated July 5, 2017).

In response to new circumstances and restructuring trends, on April 18, 2022, the Startup Center (established under Decision No. 1291/QĐ-ĐHDT dated May 31, 2016) was merged into the Office of Enterprise Cooperation and renamed the Office of Enterprise Cooperation & Startup Support (according to Decision No. 1302/QĐ-ĐHDT dated April 18, 2022). Since then, the Office has been assigned the additional function of organizing activities that foster and promote the entrepreneurial spirit among students.
